MY FRIENDS. This week I’m recommending to you an award-winning, critically acclaimed podcast! Switching it up. I hope you’re all having good weeks/days/lives/etc. And if you’re not, many hugs to you. So this award-winning, critically acclaimed podcast is called Lore. It’s informative, a little creepy, and surprisingly, full of history!
Lore by Aaron Mahnke
Rating: 5/5 would recommend/listen to in a lighthouse/catch a gremlin for/etc.
Summary: The Lore podcast is written, narrated, and produced by a man named Aaron Mahnke, who has also written a few supernatural thrillers. So we can assume that our good friend Aaron is very much interested in the supernatural, creepy, and uncanny. He seems to understand that we are, too. Lore is a biweekly podcast that showcases some of the creepiest, most mysterious, and overall the most intriguing tall-tales in the world.
How exactly is this executed? Well, Mahnke’s method has been compared to the classic “ghost story ’round the campfire” experience. In a lot of ways, Mahnke presents his podcasts like papers. They’re well-organized, educational, and easy to follow. He covers broad topics ranging from the classic werewolves and vampires to the more obscure supernatural topics of gremlins and caves. Regardless of his subject matter, Mahnke really presents his audience with the opportunity to learn and ponder all of the things that could possibly be hanging out in the world without our knowledge.
I promote this podcast to anyone who asks me for something to do, and not a single person who’s ever listened to it hasn’t liked it. It’s just a podcast for everyone, whether you like supernatural things or not. The history is worth it in and of itself.
I promise you won’t be disappointed by this one! It really is fantastic and intriguing and thought-provoking. And it’s free. What more do you need, really?
Happy Wednesday. I hope you all finish the week off strong and then enjoy some of this warm weather over the weekend!
Thanks for reading today, guys!
Friendly Friday post this Friday!
Have good sleeps, my friends.
