Wednesday Glowing Artsy Recommendation: Alice Isn’t Dead

Happy Wednesday! Middle of the week, but I hope all is going well for all of you! This week we’re taking a gander at a podcast.

Alice Isn’t Dead by Joseph Fink

Rating: 5/5 would recommend/eat an omelette for/drive halfway across the country with/etc.

Summary: Don’t worry if you’re not a podcast kind of person. This one is great and different. And it’s brand spankin’ new! This one is From the producers of Welcome to Night Vale, a critically acclaimed podcast with over eighty episodes and a trillion and twelve five-star reviews. So naturally, this one has to be good. Written by a man named Joseph Fink, it’s a weird, intriguing, borderline psycho-thriller that will keep you tuning in. Moments of humor intermingle with moments of terror and confusion in a way that leaves you yearning for another chapter, then another, then another.

What exactly is it about though? Well, it’s about a woman searching for a woman who she previously thought was dead, but well…isn’t. Yep, you guessed it: she’s searching for Alice. The narrator takes up a job as a cross-country trucker to search for her long lost Alice.

The super crazy thing about this podcast is that it only has FIVE episodes! Only five! And already it’s got over 400 5-star reviews. So you’re catching it right at its genesis.

Just a fair warning before you listen: it’s weird. Really weird. And at first, it’s confusing. But stick with it and you’ll love it, I promise. Unraveling the mystery with the narrator is really half the fun!

So give this one a listen! It’s free. Which is always fantastic.

Thanks for reading today! Have good weeks, friends. If your wednesday has not been all you’ve hoped, many hugs to you.
